Robert draws on 30 years of energy transmission pipeline experience to help clients navigate challenging stakeholder, land rights and permitting issues. His field based experienced ranges from operational land management, to project stakeholder relationship management in both Alberta Canada and the U.S. (on FERC regulated assets and oil pipelines).  During a 7 year period time period Robert also served as an Area Manager, leading teams of up to 17 individuals responsible for support services delivery and operating a segment of a large natural gas transmission system in Alberta Canada.  Highlights of work in the U.S. include being involved in the operational build up and commissioning for the Keystone pipeline (Phase I and II) in 2009 – 2012 period.  Robert also served as a Interim manager for a US based Regulatory Compliance team of specialists, including those individuals focused on damage prevention and public education per API RP 1162. Robert finished his corporate career, serving in a project team focused on all Non Environmental Permitting (NEP) and facility land acquisition for the Keystone XL pipeline project (2018 – 2020).
